Meet Michael and Christina Richter 

Hello and welcome to our website! 

Often this is the first section a person visits when they come to a website. We understand that it is important to home buyers and sellers that, beyond simply getting the job done, they work with someone that they like and have things in common with. That’s the purpose of this page; to let you know who we are and what we are about.  

Michael's Story  

Originally from central Delaware, I found my way to Pennsylvania by way of Providence, Rhode Island where I attended Johnson and Wales University. I earned my Bachelors degree in Marketing and my Associates in Public Relations and Advertising. While earning my degrees, I was very active in the school’s Greek system where I was the President of Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the President of the school’s Inter-Fraternal Council. 

After college, I spent a short stint in Northern New Jersey and then moved to Pennsylvania in the late 90’s to take a sales position in the Pharmaceutical industry. It was at this time that I was first introduced to real estate; I purchased my first home in 2000. Very soon after making that purchase, I decided I had found my calling and made the decision to leave the Pharmaceutical industry and became a Realtor.

Once the decision was made, I did it the right way, I became a buyer’s agent for another Realtor. Under that Realtor, I studied my industry and learned the profession with his guidance for two years. When I was fully trained and had a strong understanding of the industry, it was time to go it alone. It was then that I became a full service Realtor. Since then, I have worked diligently to grow my business through integrating technology and with high levels of customer service.  

When the work is done and it’s time to play, my top priority is spending time with Chrissie and our son, Joseph, who we were blessed with in 2005. I am also flawed with a huge appetite for countless hobbies. If it is warm and sunny you will find me riding our Harley or competitive sailing on the Delaware River. And, if time allows it, you may find me fishing or enjoying some shooting sports. But, when it’s dark or cold outside, you will find me cooking up something good in the kitchen or getting myself in trouble while trying to do a project around the house. 

Chrissie's Story 

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and haven't lived more than 10 miles from my home town my entire life. So, to say the least, I am very familiar with this area. My background is quite different from Michael's, as I didn't go away to college but pursued my Associates Degree and Certificate in Paralegal Studies at a local Penn State University campus. I have been a paralegal for over 14 years and love what I do.  

When Michael became a Realtor, he made the job look so easy...it came to him naturally. Although, it quickly became clear as to just how hard he worked for his clients. Shortly before we had our son, we thought it would be a great idea for me to join him in Real Estate and become a team. So, while I was pregnant with Joseph and shortly after his birth, I took the required classes and tests and became a licensed Real Estate Agent.  

Although I am new to the field, I have one great asset that never seems to be too far away when a question arrises, Michael. Of course is a great benefit that I am married to that asset. Learning from Michael has been a gift unto itself. 

When the day is done and I have spent as much time as I can possibly squeeze out of a day with Joseph and Michael, you can find me curled up on sofa reading a book...or outside with my camera snapping photos of life as it passes by...or on a nice sunny and warm day, you will find Michael and I out and about on our Harley.
