Michael Richter REALTOR®
Below you will find out details about how I created my career in real estate, But first… a little about me.
The thing that really makes me tick are my boys. I am the proud father of two incredible boys, and they really are my world. We spend our time camping or hiking the trails of south eastern PA, fishing Marsh Creek State Park, practicing archery & cultivating our garden in the back yard, and cooking together. Children these days are always on the go, between sports, school, friends and family, but I think its important to find ways and places to go to have one on one time, and enjoy a little bit of nature. When I am not with my children, I have been known to hop on my Harley and head in a random direction to enjoy a great day and find lunch in some town I have never explored. I’m also an avid photographer, so rarely will you not see me with my camera in hand. On occasion, I will grab a fishing pole an try my hand at landing a trout in French Creek or a Muskie in Marsh Creek. Then there is my job as a Realtor…. I am one of very few people you will most likely meet in your life, that can tell you honestly….. I Love What I Do. I would not recommend this career to most, but for me its a passion. Its not the act of buying and selling, its my clients. I truly love being the person that helps you achieve your goals. Obtaining these goals can be an emotional process for many, but I am the trusted captain to the ship, and I am honored to have that role in my clients lives. That is a quick window into Michael Richter…. and now on to the basic details of how I got here!
Michael Richter has been a real estate professional since August 21, 2001 and he knows the Mid-Atlantic region very well. Originally from central Delaware, Michael earned a bachelors degree in marketing from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. After college, he worked in pharmaceutical sales for Novartis; but after purchasing his first home in 2000, he soon realized that he would excel in the real estate industry.
First becoming a buyer’s agent for another Realtor, Michael studied the industry and learned the ins and outs of becoming a great Realtor. Dedicated to understanding the needs of his clients for both their personal residences and their investment properties, Michael has also spent the last 15 years developing extensive networking contacts and learning how to integrate technology into the art of the home buying and selling business.
Customer service is Michael’s top priority, and you’ll quickly see his genuine interest in you and your goals as soon as you meet with him. Michael looks to work as a real partner with each client, becoming an integral factor in each client’s investment strategy. His strong referral network and extensive knowledge of Suburban Philadelphia makes him a clear choice when selecting a top Realtor in Chester or Montgomery counties.
After beginning his real estate career with Re/Max Central in Lansdale and spending six years at Keller Williams Real Estate in Blue Bell, Michael has found a great professional home with Re/Max Achievers, where he is a Number 1 Expert and top selling agent. His clients all have similar words of praise for him…

I the past year I have bought a house and sold 2 more through Mike. Mike was able to help me make an offer on my current house and Go to settlement in less than 9 weeks. He helped me sell my old house. I had showings on my house the next day and an offer within 2 weeks. I had an offer within 3 weeks. The sale did fall though at the last minute because of an updated flood plain map that had been re-drawn the previous year that I wasn't told about. FEMA put my property into a flood zone but didn't determine what the proper flood elevation should be. Therefore once the buyer's underwriter did their due diligence the buyer were told that they needed to buy some rather expensive flood insurance every year. My first buyer backed out shortly after. Michael was able to find a land surveyor and engineer who was an expert in the area. he did the elevation survey and even submitted the paperwork to FEMA. With the elevation study we were able to get the flood insurance requirement removed. We had an agreement of sale 2 months later and settlement was a piece of cake. The day after settlement of my house we put my father-in-law's house on the market the next day. Three week later we had an agreement of sale for that house. This time AOS, home inspections, and settlement were worry free and all issues were communicated clearly and promptly. Mike is one of the most patient real estate agents I have ever met. Any questions or concerns I ever had were explained completely and in a way everyone one involved could understand.
